Lubbock Senior Center
Helping seniors to be physically and mentally active is the primary goal of the Lubbock Senior Center. Staying active is crucial to healthy aging; thus, we offer a wide variety of programs and services to help them be active and improve their quality of life. We ensure that the programs and activities we offer are fun, enjoyable, and beneficial to everyone, including staff.
Lubbock Senior Center has a large dining room where seniors can enjoy the healthy and delicious meals served by our chef. We prepare three meals a day that matches their dietary requirements.
Scheduled exercise classes are provided by our fitness instructor in our fully-equipped fitness center. We offer various exercise classes, including yoga, Zumba, aerobics, and more, so that seniors can choose which exercise they prefer. These exercises not only improve their physical health but also give them relaxation.
To help seniors stimulate their mental health, we have a library where they can read plenty of books in a comfortable and relaxing environment. They also have access to the conference rooms where they can conduct club meetings, games, and other activities. We also conduct programs and activities to ensure that they will not get bored and have fun while learning in Lubbock TX Senior Center.

Meal and Nutrition Programs
It is vital for seniors to eat the right foods and to achieve a balanced diet. Thus we offer meals and nutrition programs. These programs can help seniors improve their diet, learn how to cook and prepare food at home or help them manage their weight in the future. We give them an amazing opportunity to learn more about food and nutrition.
Seniors can still learn no matter their age. We have classes that can teach them everything, such as gardening, geography, language, and more. These programs can help them develop a new hobby or make them busy.
Social and Recreational Activities
One of our senior center's primary goals is to provide an opportunity for seniors to engage and socialize with other people their age. Socialization is crucial for them to reduce the risk of depression and loneliness. We have programs and activities to help them have fun with other seniors and with our staff. Card games and board games are also offered in the center.
Fitness and Wellness Activities
Many seniors are struggling to stay active and fit. And because it is crucial for them to stay active and fit, we provide different kinds of fitness classes and exercise activities. Our fitness instructor establishes a customized fitness and wellness plan to match the physical capabilities of seniors.
We also offer health screenings and monitoring to ensure that seniors are in good condition. This includes hearing tests, blood sugar tests, blood pressure monitoring, and more. Wellness seminars are also provided to help them learn more about taking care of themselves and living a healthier and happier life.
